one. action.
[ Sometime in the evening - after the sun has gone down - there is a girl floating above the fountain. Just chilling out in mid air, one leg crossed over the over as she cradles what looks like, from a distance, an axe.
And she's playing it?
Ah. Those are strings. This is a bass axe. And Marceline is strumming it as she hovers over the water, singing softly to herself and occasionally twisting and moving in the air to the imagined beat of her song. ]
Gonna go on out there
Find out who brought me here and
Make them see
This just isn't the place for me
Gonna make them regret
... man, that totally sucks.
[ She stops playing to tune her bass instead, floating down to the ground so she can sit on the edge of the fountain instead. She keeps talking, but it's definitely not to any curious passerby. ]
Glad I found you, baby. Dad would be pre-tty mad if I lost you. Not that he's here. Whatever. [ Shrugs and keeps working.
Depending on who approaches her, she will do one of two things:
A) greet them casually.
B)
Pick your poison! ]

[ She shrieks and falls back, right onto her butt on the ground. But she's already scrambling to get up a moment later and so she manages, only to run and hide behind a tree to the side of the plaza. Not that she's subtly hiding, she's clearly still here, but she just looks frightened as she's shaking.. ]

Taking a moment to transform back into her human shape she steps out from the shadows. Whoever she was, she didn't smell human so...hopefully she won't freak out at her.]

... and tonight, "what's going on in town" appears to be a grey-skinned girl floating in the air while singing a song and playing an... axe? Huh. That's a new one.
He stops to listen, the songwriter side of him curious.]
Did you write that?
